For some, it could involve looking at their culture and making recommendations for improvements. With others I’ve overseen the building of entire people functions and coached their HR people.

Culture Audit

A global PR company sought to measure employee views on their culture. I was engaged to run a complete cultural audit of the business. The audit uncovered some issues that needed addressing for the business to be at peak performance and to continue to attract and retain the best people possible. As a result, the client continues to have a culture that they are proud of but also directly impacts, in a positive way, the bottom line.

Culture Audit / Outsourced Chief People Officer (CPO)

The MD of a major charity wanted an external view on their purpose, mission and values and the on-going support to develop and implement a people strategy to transform the business. Following a Culture Audit I helped to create an internal brand defining the desired behaviours and values, 360 degree feedback programme and coached senior managers in people issues.

Outsourced Chief People Officer (CPO)

I joined a sustainable energy provider as People Director in 2019 - a key member of the senior management team on a part-time basis. I played an integral role in growing the business to 200 employees within three years. During this time we won a number of awards for our innovative and positive culture. My greatest achievement was when we won the EMEA Inspiring Workplace of the Year Award in the Inspiring Workplaces Awards 2021.
